Sheila is a Scottish Artist with a love of colour and texture. Her seascape paintings are inspired by visits to The Hebridean Islands and the East Coast of Scotland . She also loves painting cottages, wildflowers and flowers in vases. Everything is inspired by the beauty of nature.
It is that wonderful time of year - when bluebells start to appear.
Spring is here and the countryside is suddenly full of blue and purple hues.
It is so inspirational for my art. I love the colour and texture of oil paint and painting bluebells with coeruleum blue, violet, purple dioxide, and shades of emerald green, hookers green and yellow green is wonderful.
